Day 5 Up in the Air and down and all around

Day 5 September 20th We had an early start today for our hot air balloon ride at 4am—Now we are early risers but this was early! We met a lovely British couple, Millie and Adrienne,  along the way. The hot air balloon ride was simply fantastic. Randy described it beautifully, It felt like we were riding on a cloud. After an hour long ride and seeing animals from the air, we were treated to a outdoor breakfast with Champagne and cooked to order omelets. The only problem is that we somehow missed our driver , Michael, who was supposed to pick us up :/ Sammy, another driver took care of us and drove us around getting closer to the lions than was allowed, but giving us some great shots. We finally caught up with Michael and got another treat. We saw both a Leopard and a Cheetah! The Cheetah was coming directly toward our vehicle, again giving us spectacular pics. We finally realized it was stalking something in the distance, and off it went! All the off-wheelers in the area were quick to follow, racing to be the 1st to catch up with the cat and see him get his kill! The Poor Thompson Giselle didn’t have a chance. After lunch we caught up on a bit of sleep and email. Another Safari before dinner gave us pics of the Big Five we hoped to see along with some spectacular sunset shots. We should have gone off to bed after that but the live asian music singing 80’s music coupled with Karaoke and dancing was too much to resist.
